How does IQoala work?
IQoala is the largest online tradie marketplace in Australia. We essentially link everyone and allow them to discover what they need and who they need to complete their tasks. Customers tell us what they need help with, and we present that information as a job lead to nearby tradies and business.
A job lead includes a description of the job, its location, and the deadline. If you like the sound of the work, you can accept the lead and begin a direct conversation with the customer to set up an appointment. All of this will be done via our simple app, which saves you time and effort.
What are the benefits of using IQoala?
IQoala is the largest online tradie marketplace in Australia. Our platform links people who want to enhance their daily lives with reliable tradespeople and companies. We're the place to be for job leads, with a new job lead posted every 20 seconds on average. We provide you leads, you pick the jobs, and you're in power.
Is a license required?
We check licenses and business registrations, so if the relevant government entity demands a license for the activity you undertake, we'll need to double-check before you may receive leads. Because the requirements vary by state or country, it's wise to check with your local government to see what you'll need before enrolling.

We interact with our tradies through a variety of methods, including our IQoala App, phone, and email. You can contact us by phone at 1300 xxx xxx, by email at support@iqoala.com.au, or by signing into your IQoala account and sending us a message.
What can support do for me?
The quick answer is that it may be anything! We've discovered that many tradies/businesses want to be in control, thus our App and company Portal have been designed to be completely self-contained. What are the operating hours of IQoala?

When I call, why do you ask me so many questions?
We ask verification questions at the beginning of the conversation to check that we're speaking with the authorized account holder.

How do I sign in?
Simply go to www.iqoala.com.au and login with the same username & password you used for the app. Please contact us if you have forgotten your login details.

How can I change the content of my page?
Simply go to 'My Page' in the left top-hand menu, click on View My Page, and update your page content.
You have limitless photos and videos with your subscription, so feel free to upload them to your page.
Can I show pictures of my work?
Sure!
When you accept a customer's lead, your profile page is sent to them, thus having pictures that show off the quality of your work might help you stand out.
You can update this on the Tradie Portal. We can update it for you if you send an email to support@Iqoala.com.au or a message to us via the Iqoala App with the pictures.

Receiving a payment
What is the best way for a customer to pay me?
If you already have a payment method in place, you can continue to request payments from clients, and IQoala will not be responsible for the payment.
Why have you inquired about my bank account information?
For your subscription plan, we need your bank account information.
What can I do if a client refuses to pay?
IQoala is unable to enforce and collect payment due to tight debt collection restrictions, however we are delighted to follow up and remind the customer of any outstanding payments.

To avoid service restrictions, it's critical that these payments be made on time or that you notify us if you're unable to do so.

What exactly is a lead?
A lead is a potential customer's invitation to do business with you.
How are leads priced?
Our leads are provided free to all of our valued members and are created in response to consumer requests.
What is the procedure for accepting a lead?
With the IQoala App:
Job invitations can be simply managed with a touch of a button on the IQoala App. Accept or decline the lead invitation, and your lead will be moved to the relevant tab on your App right away. You can also check your leads dashboard to see how far you've progressed.
With Tradie Portal:
You'll see a list of leads you've been invited to when you login into your account. Here you can browse the available leads and review the job's detailed information before deciding whether or not to accept.
With Email:
If you've set up email notifications, we'll notify you whenever a new lead becomes available. Click the "Accept" button in the email to accept the lead.
What is the difference between a genuine lead and other leads?
By verifying the client before to sending a request via us, we are trying to avoid leads that are duplicates, have incorrect contact information, or are from outside of the region your account is set up in.
What is the meaning of a reminder lead?
According to our research, customers prefer to receive five quotes in order to compare and choose the best tradie for the job. If the lead isn't accepted by five tradies the first time, we may send it again to encourage more tradies to accept it, ensuring customers receive the five quotes they require.
Where can I see a list of accepted leads?
Simply go to your dashboard tab (found at the bottom of the screen on an iOS or Android smartphone), click on my task, and you'll see the progress of your leads in the IQoala for App.
In the website, Click on dashboard in the upper right corner of the page and then on my task tap.
How can I indicate that a job has been filled?
Go to 'my task' in the IQoala App or the Tradie Portal and select 'To Do' status on the relevant lead.
How can I choose which leads I get?
By going to the Lead Settings section of your Tradie Portal, you can quickly manage your leads. You can personalize your leads by selecting which categories and locations you'd want to get employment from, as well as which suburbs you'd like to receive job leads from. You may also call us at 1300 xxx xxx and we will assist you over the phone.
Waitlist
Why is there a 'Waitlist' option available to me?
Only 5 tradies can accept each lead to help provide a fair marketplace for all of our tradies.
If other tradies apply for the job, they will be placed on a waiting list. According to our study, our clients want to have quotation choices so that if one of the original tradies cancels or the estimates aren't adequate, they have a backup plan.
This guarantees that they can acquire 5 comprehensive quotations and offers the tradies on the queue more opportunities to win work.

How can I get in touch with a customer?
Customers appreciate you taking the time to call out, and it demonstrates your enthusiasm and willingness to go above and beyond. It's the simple things like this that can make a big difference in your win rate:
Calling the customer first is the best course of action.
If you can't talk to them on the phone, send them a brief, professional, and personalized message through the app. On the consumer app, they'll receive a notification.
When is it appropriate to use the message function?
You can use whenever you want!
As part of your initial contact, sending a customer a message through the Message Centre might help you start a conversation with them. Furthermore, because everything is stored in one central spot on your device, it's an excellent method to keep track of your chats. It also helps us to keep track of messages in case anything needs to be looked into.
What if I'm unable to contact a client?
Customers are occasionally unable to respond because they are preoccupied with work or just unavailable at the time you call. We all know that calling the customer as soon as you accept the lead increases your chances of speaking with them.
If you can't speak with the consumer right away, download the app and send them a personalized message. Some people aren't ready to start working right away, so make sure you follow up with them. This will help you convert these leads later. Keep your profile updated so that they can see it and contact you when they have free time. It could just be a bad time for them, so follow up with them.
If their phone number is wrong, what can I do?
Simply send the client a message from your app's Message Centre.
The customer's phone number isn't linked to the Message Centre, and they'll get your message.
Ratings and suggestions
5 star ratings
What is the value of my five-star rating?
The percentage of good recommendations determines your star rating.
Your 5 Star Rating displays on your profile, adding validity to your profile and eventually strengthening your reputation.
Star Ratings are based on recommendations from work completed on IQoala and have a maximum score of 5. Customers can read about your prior projects to see why you were recommended for the work you perform.
What can I do to achieve a five-star rating?
We'll award you a star rating out of five once you've had three replies on Hired jobs, which will appear at the top of your listing page and in search results.
When you've finished a project for an IQoala client, just go to your app or Tradie Portal, mark the job as Done, and then click Leave feedback. Both Tradies and Customers can leave feedback for each other, and IQoala's Admin Team will follow up to make sure the feedback was real and fair.
Percentage is computed by dividing the number of persons who said yes to recommending your business by the total number of persons who answered the question. For example, if 8 out of 10 people stated they'd suggest you, that's an 80 percent recommendation rate, and you'll get 4 stars.
How do I get a job recommendation from IQoala?
A client can offer feedback on your profile once a job is offered and you have successfully finished the lead. We also have a team devoted to collecting consumer feedback and following up with them.
By marking your work as 'Done' and pressing 'Request a Feedback,' you can also leave feedback. After that, your customer will be notified to provide comments on the project.
You Can See All of your reviews on the My Page of your IQoala app or the Tradie Portal.
How can reviews help me in getting new jobs?
Your star ratings and reviews are proof of your excellent work.
These reflect the grade of your business and your services. When evaluating different businesses, we've discovered that customers prefer the one that has favorable feedback on their job.
The recommendation also makes your profile page better.
My current rating is poor. How can I make this better?
We already follow up with these people to obtain reviews on your business for all the jobs you accept through IQoala. You can login to your account and "Request a Feedback" for the jobs you want us to follow up on.
Is it possible to edit a recommendation given about me?
Before they are published on your profile, the Trust & Quality team reviews any comment and verifies their authenticity. This aids in the management of negative feedback and ensures that it is handled in a way that does not smear a company.
If you believe a recommendation on your page does not reflect well on your company, please contact our Trust & Quality team at support@IQoala.com.au at 1300 xxx xxx. They will gladly review the comments.
When I get bad comment, what should I do?
Receiving bad feedback is unpleasant, but it provides you excellent chance to answer the customer's issue and turning them into an advocate. If you receive bad feedback, we recommend that you contact the customer to resolve the issue; but, if you're having problems, let us know.
Positive feedback, on the other hand, is always welcomed; return the favor by thanking the client using the My Reviews area.
On your profile page, negative reviews are temporarily hidden. Negative feedback is taken extremely seriously by us. Any bad review is looked at by a member of our Trust & Quality Team. Any firm that routinely gets customer complaints may face legal action.
Refer a Tradie
What are the Refer a Trader program's terms and conditions?
• After accepting the first lead, the referring friend will receive their "One Month Free."
• Tradies who join up must not have a current IQoala membership
• Tradies must create an account and accept the first offer to receive a month free subscription

• The regular IQoala terms and conditions and privacy policy apply.
How many tradies am I allowed to refer?
You may refer as many tradies to IQoala as you like! However, keep in mind that they must have a valid ABN and, in most cases, a license.
What is the process for referring a tradies?
The refer a tradie program is simple: tell your tradie friends how much you appreciate IQoala, and you'll be charged if they sign up.

Both Apple and Android smartphones can use the IQoala for Business App.
How can I receive pop-up notifications?
You'll need to check that Notifications are turned on in your smartphone's settings, depending on your device. If you have an Android smartphone, you must additionally ensure that notifications are enabled in the IQoala for Business App settings, in addition to having Notifications enabled in the device settings.
Why do I have to keep updating the app?
We're always updating the app to enhance the user experience for our tradespeople, and updating the app guarantees you don't miss out on any new features or problem updates.
My app isn't working correctly. What can I do about it?
If you're having problems with the app, make sure you're using the most recent version by updating it on the Google Play Store or the App Store.
